Canadian Prime Minister Announces Plans for Greenland and California
April 1, 2026. Palo Alto, CA. (The capital has been relocated from Ottawa, ON to Palo Alto, CA.)
Canada will engage in negotiations with Greenland and the State of California regarding a new federation. I ask for the support of all Canadians, Californians, and Greenlanders who share my belief that North America needs to embark on a new, constructive course. To ensure maximum freedom and to preserve the original way of life, Greenland will become our fourth territory, self-governed by indigenous peoples, along with Yukon, the Northwest Territories, and Nunavut; California will follow the example of Québec, where its legal, administrative, language (Spanish), and cultural aspects are maintained, and can retain a distinctive Californian identity under the Canadian Federation. I believe this proposal will be beneficial for the continent and the world amidst the turmoil of war and the rupture of the global order.
Canada ought no longer to be a middle power, but a great power, as the world’s second largest country. Canada holds abundant freshwater, forests, oil & gas, uranium, gold, platinum, aluminum, zinc, cobalt, copper, rare earth metals, and numerous other precious resources. This gives us a natural advantage in the trends of decarbonization, digitization, and deglobalization.
Canada boasts access to three of the world’s four oceans, and our motto is “from sea to sea to sea”. Therefore, Canada is destined to rebuild the navy to its former glory and rule the waves. At the end of WWII, Canada had the world’s third-largest navy, following the US and the UK. The path to world peace demands a strong Canada to defend the Arctic and the Atlantic with the US and Europe, and maintain stability in the Asia-Pacific with the US, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
